Physiotherapy Consults — Prices
Initial physiotherapy sessions include a comprehensive history taking through conversation (generally about 20-30 mins), tailored physiotherapy testing and assessment, clinical reasoning, hands-on treatment, and the establishment of a personalised treatment plan. Sessions are tailored to your needs and goals, with time taken to understand your body, address pain or injury, and support safe, confident movement forward.
Initial Physio Consult: $195 (60-75 minutes):
Private health code: 500
Review physio sessions are follow-up appointments focused on reassessing progress, refining your plan, and addressing any ongoing or new concerns. These sessions may include further assessment, hands-on treatment, education, and exercise progression, guided by what’s most helpful for you on the day.
Review Physio Consult: $148 (45-60 minutes)
Private health code: 505

1:1 Guided Exercise Consults — Prices
These are 1:1 guided movement sessions focused on building confidence, consistency, and understanding around exercise. They’re ideal for ongoing support when a comprehensive assessment has been undertaken, and an established treatment plan is in place. These sessions have a very different intention from physiotherapy review consults, as they DO NOT include hands-on therapy or in-depth assessments. The focus is on exercise and home program progressions.
NOTE: Before commencing Guided Exercise Sessions, you must have had:
- An Initial Physio Consult (price listed above)
- AND 1 or 2 Review Physio Consults (price listed above)
Physiotherapy Guided Exercise Consults: $72 (30 minutes)
Private health code: 505
5 Pack Price: $65 per 30-minute session ($325 total)*
*When you pay for a pack of sessions, that amount gets put onto your account as credit. You then claim each session’s rebate/reimbursement individually with the paid receipt you’ll receive once you’ve attended each session. You are unable to claim rebates until you have attended the session/s.

Rebates through Medicare or GP Referrals
You’re able to claim rebates through Medicare’s GP Chronic Condition Management Plans (GPCCMP). These plans cover up to 5 allied health visits (including Physiotherapy) per calendar year and require a referral from your GP. They are for persistent conditions, generally those that have lasted more than 4 months.
The standard rebate is $61.80 (as of Dec 2025), unless you’ve reached your Medicare Safety Net, which would entitle you to a higher rebate.
The way rebates work at Her Holistic Physio:
- Pay for the consultation in full
- Receive the paid invoice with the relevant Medicare code (10960)
- Log in to your MyGov account and go to Medicare
- Click ‘Make a claim’ and follow the prompts to claim the rebate
If accessibility for claiming is an issue, I can process the claim, and Medicare will send you the rebate.
Rebates through Private Health
You’re able to claim rebates for Physiotherapy 1:1s and group sessions through your private health insurer if you have the relevant extras cover.
The amount covered by your insurance is dependent on your specific cover. For a quote, you’ll need to contact your Private Health Insurer directly.
The way rebates work at Her Holistic Physio:
- Pay for the consultation in full
- Receive the paid invoice with the relevant Physiotherapy code (500, 505 or 506 for 1:1s; 560 or 561 for group sessions)
- Log in to your Private Health Insurance account or app
- Click ‘Make a claim’ and follow the prompts to claim the rebate
I do not currently have a machine on site to make claims at the time of the session. Thanks for your understanding.
WorkCover + TAC
I do not work directly with WorkCover or TAC, but if you have funding and have been told that you can send your paid Physiotherapy invoices to them for reimbursement, then we can easily do that. All invoices from Her Holistic Physio contain the relevant information needed by TAC or WorkCover (time of session, type of session, Physiotherapy code, client details) and additional information can be added to assist with claiming too.
The amount covered by TAC or WorkCover is up to those organisations.
The way WorkCover + TAC rebates work at Her Holistic Physio:
- You pay for the consultation in full
- You’ll receive the paid invoice
- You’ll contact TAC or WorkCover to claim reimbursement from them
Whether or not TAC or WorkCover reimburse you for the consultation is up to those organisations. I can provide additional paperwork to assist with getting funding for you if the paperwork is specifically requested from me by TAC or WorkCover in writing, including confirmation that I can bill them for the time it takes to do the paperwork.
If there’s any confusion here, please feel free to contact me or book a free discovery call.
